DR. JAE LIM NAMED TRAUMA LEAD FOR NEUROSURGERY AT RESTON HOSPITAL
Recently, Reston Hospital was designated a provisional Level II Trauma Center by the Virginia Department of Health’s State Health Commissioner.
In this exciting transition, Dr. Jae Lim, MD was named Trauma Lead for Neurosurgery. He, along with several other specially selected doctors, will help oversee a comprehensive surgical trauma team in the following specialities:
Thoracic Surgery
Neurological Surgery
Orthopedic Surgery
Hand Surgery
Plastic Surgery
Maxillofacial Surgery
Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery
Oral Surgery
Ophthalmic Surgery
Gynecological Surgery/Obstetrical Surgery
Urological Surgery
Reston Hospital Center is the first provisional Level II Trauma Center serving Northern Virginia to open in over a decade.
Reston Hospital Center’s Level II designation will provide additional access to lifesaving trauma care and allows emergency responders a new location to transfer patients to a trauma center within the critical “golden hour” during which treatment is most effective.
