CONSIDERING SURGERY TO TREAT A DAMAGED CERVICAL DISC?

The Synergy Disc® is now available through a new, no cost level 2 clinical study.

DO YOU STRUGGLE WITH PAIN, NUMBNESS OR TINGLING IN YOUR NECK, SHOULDER, OR ARMS?

It may be due to a damaged cervical disc in your neck - and you have options.

Right now, spine surgeons at select US centers are conducting a new clinical study that may be able to help. The level 2 study is for the Synergy Disc® - an investigational, artificial cervical disc designed to relieve pain while maintaining motion in the spine.

If you've been told you may have a damaged spinal disc in your neck, or that you may need spinal fusion surgery - we invite you to see if the level 2 Synergy Disc clinical study is right for you. If you qualify and choose to join the study, you will receive the Synergy Disc procedure and all study-related care at no cost.

When placed, the Synergy Disc is designed to mimic your spine's natural range of motion

WHAT IS THE SYNERGY DISC®?

Cervical discs act as shock absorbers between the bones in the upper spine/neck. Sometimes a cervical disc will get damaged either due to an accident or just normal wear and tear as we age. A damaged cervical disc can put pressure on nearby spinal nerves, causing pain, tingling or numbness in the neck, shoulder or arm.

If medications and physical therapy fail to provide relief, your doctor may recommend spinal fusion surgery. While effective at eliminating pain, spinal fusion also elminates motion.

Artificial disc replacement may offer an alternative to spinal fusion. In this procedure, once the damaged disc is removed, it is replaced with a specialized implant called an artificial disc. The artificial disc is designed to restore proper spacing, while preserving motion associated with a healthy disc.

The Synergy Disc® is an investigational, next-generation artificial cervical disc designed to mimic your spine's natural range of motion. The Synergy Disc is currently available in Europe and Australia, and is being off

ered in the US through a new clinical study. If you qualify and choose to join the study, you will receive the Synergy Disc procedure and all study-related care at no cost.
